Digital Storefronts Course: Scam or Legit Business To Start in 2022

If you’ve been considering Digital Storefronts to start your business this year, I’m sure you’ve been hunting all over the internet for helpful advice on the program.

Some even researching as to whether the Digital Storefronts course scam or legit training program.

Which is a good thing!

Committing to a business is a serious endeavor – and you should make as informed a decision as possible.

However…

A few students of mine recently pointed out some interesting “reviews” to me.

Some making very targeted attacks at me and at the legitimacy of the digital storefronts course effectively trying to “cancel” me and my program.

And so even though it’s sad that I – a Christian-minded entrepreneur who built DSF to help others – even has to defend myself like this at all…

I feel like I should clear the air about a few things.

And hopefully this leaves you with a better idea for where to go for help in your own online business journey too.

Digital Storefronts Course Scam or Legit? What The So-called “Reviews” Are Saying…

First, let’s be very clear here:

Many of these “reviews” aren’t actually reviews.

Instead they’re using a VERY shady bait-and-switch marketing tactic where they discredit a competitor’s program to try and make their own program look good.

The dead giveaway here is that at least a dozen times throughout this article, they link to their “#1 recommended” program…

Which of course, is just the article writer’s own program!

And clicking any of the links brings you to a new website with this absurd claim:

First of all, if you’re running any kind of legit business it’s impossible to make the same exact amount of money every month.

(In this case $41,415…)

So if you ask me, sounds fishy to begin with.

But then, if we take a look at the disclaimer down at the bottom, they explicitly say…

“Earnings and income representations made are aspirational statements only of your earnings potential.”

So this “review” criticizes me for telling my students they can earn a modest $1,500 – $2,000 a month with Digital Storefronts

Making a lengthy “review” about the Digital Storefronts course – scam or legit…

Yet recommending the program that wildly promises over $40,000 a month – as a purely “aspirational” number…

…Somehow that’s ok?

I think by now you can see what’s going on here.

An honest review is one thing.

In fact I welcome feedback on DSF as it helps us make the program even stronger!

But to try and tear down the community I’ve built, just to sell their own shady program and make a quick buck for themselves…

All I can say is that this sadly represents a lot of the problems we see in America right now.

The BEST Approach to Online Lead Gen: How Does DSF Measure Up?

In this same article, the “reviewer” implies that DSF is the “wrong” way to go about online lead generation…

“This creates a ton of client turnover, forces you to do a lot of selling, as well as experimenting with different types of ads and campaigns.”

Absolutely NONE of this is true!

For example, my first ever DSF client was the owner of a local Limo service.

That was 4 years ago…

We still work together to this day!

This has been the case for many of our students too, as the work we’re doing makes a genuine positive impact on biz owners everywhere.

Could you really imagine a client who’s this happy, suddenly decide to bail because he’s a “quick turnover”?

If the owner of this other program (and the writer of the article) knows anything about quick turnover

It’s probably because they’re engaging in one of the most unethical – yet unfortunately most common – business practices out there:

Making wild, unrealistic promises to their clients just to make the sale.

And then when those clients (the hardworking biz owners we’re supposed to be HELPING) finally realize they’ve been tricked?

That’s when they rightfully back out of their initial agreement.

I mean…

If this other course seller is promising “$41,125 every single month” to his own students

What do you think he’s saying to potential clients on the other side of the business – which he’d have even less contact with?

Part of me doesn’t even want to know.

And finally, there is absolutely no need to ‘experiment’ with different types of ads and campaigns in DSF.

This is what me and my entire team are testing behind the scenes…

We simply pass on the information of what’s working best to the members of our group!

This way you can get amazing results for yourself AND their clients…

Without having to endlessly fiddle around with websites and ad campaigns.

Digital Storefronts – Do You OWN The Asset? 

Moving on, the next claim this article makes is that…

“…the right way to do lead generation involves building assets that YOU own and control.”

Which is weird… 

Because that’s exactly what Digital Storefronts are!

You own the asset 100%.

You control everything about them.

Including what clients and tenants pay to rent them from you.

And as they generate leads, they increase in value…

(Same way a physical piece of commercial real estate would have a higher value if it saw more foot traffic…)

It’s natural that you’ll have local business owners reaching out to YOU to potentially rent the Storefront!

Because what’s $1,000-$2,000 a month to rent the Storefront from you, if in return it’s bringing in $10,000+ worth in new customers for that biz owner?

According to the “reviewer”, this is exactly the right way to go about lead gen…

So why wouldn’t he recommend DSF?

Probably because this article was never meant to be an honest review from someone who actually tried the program.

But really just to make unfounded attacks against our Program to benefit himself.

Digital Storefronts “Cost”…

The “review” then says that Digital Storefronts costs $5,000.

I’m not sure where they got that number from…

Because it is not 5K (tells you the quality of their research, right 😉).

That said, Digital Storefronts is not cheap.

And here’s why:

Most people buy smaller, $100-$200 courses over and over again for YEARS – without ever seeing any meaningful results.

I know because I went down the same rabbit hole myself when I first got started in online business.

Wasting thousands of dollars on “cheap” courses which promised to make me money with Affiliate Marketing, Amazon FBA, MLMs, etc.

If I knew what I know now, I would have gladly paid multiples more than $5K just to have someone show me what to do.

In exchange for a PROVEN low-risk business, 24/7 coaching, and all the other tools those cheaper programs lacked…

I probably would’ve cut 2-3 entire years off my online business journey.

I would’ve saved myself a whole lotta money…

And I would’ve saved my family from a lot of stress – when bills were due and I was still struggling to figure things out.

Which is why even though DSF isn’t “cheap”…

The best way to look at it is like an investment.

For example, if I said that in exchange for $10,000 (which is NOT the Digital Storefronts cost)…

You’d be able to make an extra $2,000… $5,000… even $10,000 a month indefinitely…

That’d be a pretty good trade right?

Can You Learn How To Do Lead-Gen Yourself Online?

According to this “reviewer”…

You can learn everything you need to know about lead gen online “for free”.

So then why’s he also promoting his own program?

Wouldn’t it be useless if that were true?

See, when it comes to online marketing and lead gen, there are definitely some things you can learn online, on say YouTube for example.

But the big problem with this approach is that you have to take that information you learned for “free”…

Then test it trial-and-error style with your OWN money!

And some people are completely ok with this approach.

If they have the spare time and money to go it alone, I think that’s great!

But unfortunately most people don’t have money to risk like that.

And when they’re already working 40+ hours a week…

It’s not so easy to come home after a long day at work to play around with online business stuff.

And this is why courses like DSF are so valuable.

It removes all the guesswork, gives you all the information you won’t find for “free” online…

And gives you a proven step-by-step roadmap for success!

Joining DSF – Just Another Pushy “Sales Call”?

This is another completely untruthful claim I read in one of these reviews.

It’s that you need to have a conversation with a “sales guy” in order to join the program.

Yes – we do have a call process in place in order to join the program…

But this is solely a ‘qualification’ call for both parties!

We want to help make sure DSF really is a fit for you and your family.

And we also want to make sure that you’re someone who can be an asset to our community too!

It’s true that our community only has a “modest” 600-ish members.

But that’s on purpose.

If we just “sold” the program to anyone and everyone, we’d be doing a lot more harm than good.

Why would I want to accept somebody else’s hard earned money if I wasn’t confident they would earn that money back 10 times over?

On top of that, if we had a group packed full of say 2,000 members…

Sure, it’d look better when you look in from the outside…

But it’d be a lot harder for me and my team to provide the hands-on, over-the-shoulder type of support and coaching we strive for.

And unlike most other online “coaches” and all the gurus…

I’d much rather have a smaller, close-knit group with a HIGH success rate, than a group packed full with more students than the “coach” can handle.

(And so basically no one gets the results they were promised.)

Speaking of coaching…

Cory Long Got “Kicked Out” of Another Coaching Group!?

Now, one thing this article mentions is that I was supposedly “kicked out” of a previous coaching group.

Which I’ll admit is partly true…

But NOT because I was trying to “sell” my own stuff.

Instead, the truth is…

The group I was in before locked everything behind a paywall.

Every single ‘next step’ in the business came with a hefty price tag.

In the end some students were paying up to $10,000 and more.. for LESS coaching and content than I offer inside DSF!

So while sure, you can say I got “kicked out” of the group…

It’s because they were scared I’d stop their students from handing over thousands of dollars unnecessarily.

And this is one of the main reasons I actually created Digital Storefronts in the first place.

I wanted to create a reliable training program based around a simple business principle: A Great Product for a Fair Price.

No paywalls.

No restricted access.

No “upgrades”.

Just a start-to-finish coaching program where what you see is what you get…

And what you get is everything you need!

So How Are My Students Doing Now?

The “reviewer” also mentions that he only saw 3 testimonials for DSF during his research.

I’m not sure what kind of “research” he was doing…

Because between our website and our social media channels, we’ve shared DOZENS of DSF testimonials over the years!

If you’ve read through this whole article, I first want to say thank you.

It’s a shame that I even feel the need to defend myself like this…

But unfortunately it’s the world we live in today.

So if you get just one thing out of reading, I hope it’s this:

There’s a lot of shady characters and false leaders out there trying to squeeze a buck out of you.

And they’ll result to slander, defamation, and discrediting others if they have to.

We’ve seen this happen over and over again in 2020 and 2021…

Including many areas outside online business.

Unfortunately it seems that in order to succeed, most would rather tear down others and steal from what they’ve built…

Not many are willing to put in the hard work to build something themselves anymore.

Which is also why I don’t “review” other programs myself!

Even if what they’re doing is unethical…

I’d rather just focus on growing DSF and on helping my own students get the life-changing results they’re wanting.

It’s just like what Jim Rohn said…

“There are two ways to have the tallest building in town. One is to tear everyone else’s building down, and the other is to build your building taller.” 

So no matter what program, course, or business model you end up choosing…

I recommend you keep a close eye on the language they’re using.

Are they inspiring success by building up their students?

Or making sales by tearing down others?
