When people click on the “About” page, they’re not really looking for the business owner’s life story. They’re not interested in what I do for a living, nor why am I the best guy to teach this.
They want to know if this will help them.
Don’t worry, I’m the same way. So I’m going to give you the 3 types of people the Digital Storefront business WILL help.
Talking about how they had broken free of the Rat Race and figured out a NEW way.
Some of these kids are so young I wondered if they’ve ever been in the Rat Race (or if they’re even out of their parents house). Not only that, you question the ethics and morals of the tactics used to achieve this level of freedom and you’re not willing to follow in that same path…
No matter how strongly you desire to achieve your goals.
Look, money is great.
It’s allowed myself and my students to truly live lives of ultimate freedom.
Money in and of itself is merely a tool.
When people get into business JUST for the money, they never have the tenacity to stick with it long enough to reap the real rewards… and in the rare situations when they do, they spiral into a depression because they realize money wasn’t the cure-all they had been told it was.
And they become lost.
For myself, I started looking for an online business is so I could devote more of myself to my Ministry work without having to take a paycheck in return.
I guess you could say I built a business in order to work for free : ).
Of course, I’m not saying you should be doing this so you can work for free, or dedicate all of your time to charity.
But, make sure you’re doing this for the right goals, and money is merely the tool to help you achieve them.
I’m not going to lie to you and say 100% of the people who pay me to help them build a Digital Storefront business succeed.
In fact, most don’t make any money.
Why?
Because everyone’s looking for the quick win with online businesses. And it’s crazy.
Nobody pays for a gym membership, skips the gym for a month, and then complains when they’re still 25 pounds overweight.
The people I see succeed are the ones who come in knowing, “To live a lifestyle that most only dream of, I’m going to have to do the work that most won’t.”
I’m not saying you’ll have to spend 5 hours a day after work building this business.
But, 5 hours a week for the first few months isn’t unreasonable. (And anyone who tells you you can build a real business with 6 and even 7-figure potential with less time than that is LYING and only wants your money… trust me).
